There are notable others that offer a very similar product experience and rising platforms such as Musical.ly where it's unknown what form of impact it may bring for retailers - the reality is these platforms are gaining millions of users and when integrated with an influencer network solution can begin to see an off-shoot of revenue streams where never previously conceived. 

It's ultimately chaotic and scrappy but is beginning to slowly eat into existing well placed brand margins and consequently department store revenues are taking a hit. This is a case of being where the customer is, if customers are not retreating back to your stores or online commerce channels then it's time to take the product to them with aligned partnerships flying in the face of the socially acceptable apps.
